Chinese New Year Festival Opening
CHINESE NEW YEAR BLESSING
Sunday 15 February | 11am – 2pm
The Dragon Dance begins on George Street and moves through the malls to Wall Street, where members of the Dunedin Chinese communities will perform traditional dances and activities.
The display in Wall Street will begin at 12:45pm with the arrival of the Lions and Drums, who will visit stores to bring luck and prosperity for the year ahead.
Join us as we bring colour, culture and good fortune to the heart of the city.
